Description
Designed for the dedicated angler, the Bertram 510 Convertible has the maneuverability, speed and technology every fishing enthusiast wants, along with the luxury, comfort and safety every fisherperson deserves.
The spacious bait preperation center is generously equipped and includes a refrigerator, a wash basin, a cutting table, and plenty of storage space. In addition to a live-bait storage area, the 510 has a large fish box that fits the center of the transom and includes a removable tub and an icebox.
Three cabins offer luxurious comfort for family or fishing friends; the main cabin has an en suite head for privacy. The galley is designed for function, making meal preperation easy. Dine in the opulent salon or enjoy the sun seated at the U-shaped banquettes on the flybridge, where you can add an optional table. In case the fish just aren’t biting, every room has high line audio/video DVD systems as well as flat screen technology.
The hi-tech instrument and electronics panel is retractable. Anti-Roll Gyro technology is optionally available to add to your safety and comfort. Vibration-isolating engine mounts and the five-bladed prop reduce noise. And, the 510 is full beam to the stern, providing the most possible space in the cockpit.
The walk-arounds on both sides of the deckhouse are extra wide for safety’s sake. The single fuel tank can be filled from either port or starboard. The engine room is accessed through the classic cockpit door.
Bertram has applied its years of racing experience to the 510 with innovatively designed rudders and struts to minimize drag. Bertram is famous for its deep-V hull that optimizes trim under the various conditions the sea and the wind may bring. With the optional MAN V12 engines, the 510 cruises at a speedy 36 knots, and it does it all day long.
