Beauty isn’t everything? But it really does matter if that beauty happens to be the new Azimut 48, a boat ahead of its time in concept, design and profile, which, together, give the impression of a yacht in movement even when motionless.

Its spacious flybridge has a large seating area that starts in full breadth in the stern to then lengthen out towards the bow and become a roomy sun-pad next to the pilot. The Bertram 46′ Convertible is an American “fisherman” in its most classical concept, designed primarily for the specific use in fishing trips. This shows immediately from the uncommonly designed cockpit: and particularly from the freeboard, which is always very restrained over the surface, a fact that makes catching and hauling the fish on board a lot more easier; and, furthermore, from the accuracy with which all possible hindrance that might hamper the fight have been carefully avoided. Therefore the Bertram 46′ Convertible features an aft deck which is not structural but can be added to the owner’s desire for a less specific use of the craft.

Characteristic of the layout of this version of the Convertible Bertram is also the steering position, invariably positioned on the flying bridge, which enables the helmsman a better steering precision in navigation, and better control of the boat during manoeuvres. This feature is particularly important during the fishing action, as it gives the helmsman the immediate perception of the development of the fight, i.e. if the prey is getting closer or further from the boat, so that he can steer the boat accordingly. As for the interiors, the Bertram 46′ Convertible is designed for efficiency, strength, and the maximum ease in living accommodation in every part of the craft.

On board, a lot of emphasis is placed on communal space, especially the saloon, the dining area and the galley, so that the day-time activity on the boat is enhanced. Nevertheless, the two sleeping cabins are spacious, soberly and very rationally styled and equipped with all comforts, air conditioning included. We particularly appreciated the owner’s stateroom, which includes en-suite heads, a central double berth underneath which a very spacious locker is located. This is readily and easily accessible, as the double berth can be lifted hydraulically.

For these reasons, and in spite of the highly specialised fishing approach, this craft cannot be classified just as a “fisherman” boat. The 46′ Convertible is a true motor yacht, comfortable, safe, sound, versatile and with excellent navigating qualities. It has a very large hull, with good displacement; the bow is designed to be high on the water, as appropriate to a fishing boat; and it is not sensitive to wind blows, due to the modest deck structures. The modified “V” hull, narrow at the bow and definitely broader at the stern, enables the yacht to reach high speed even in formed seas, with maximum performance more than adequate to guarantee fast passages. Even at lower speeds, performance during the fishing action is excellent, providing no pitching or rolling and excellent manoeuvrability.

Los rumores que rodean el nuevo Bertram 64 convertible son constantes y se espera que llene las expectativas de los más fervientes seguidores de la compañía en todo el mundo.

Increíblemente, sin comprometer casco que ha hecho esta marca de pesca deportiva tan notoria en los últimos cincuenta años, los ingenieros Bertram estan introducciendo modificaciones y mejoras a las características que evocan los modelos pasados de Bertram. Sin embargo, el 64 tiene una forma completamente nueva, abarcando características sumamente elegantes que definirán el futuro de Bertram. El nuevo 64′ es, sin duda, un Bertram en todo el sentido de la palabra.

Este nuevo Bertram 64, diseñado en colaboración con Studio Zuccon International Proyect, Ferretti Group´s (Advance Yacht Tecnology) y Centro Stile Ferretti Group, ha sido creado para un uso propuesto y supera a otros yates de pesca deportiva de tamaño similar. Está equipado con motores CAT C-32 ACERT, de 1925 caballos de fuerza cada uno y con una velocidad mayor a los 40 nudos. Superando otros yates de pesca deportiva, su potencia óptima y control empujarán este nuevo modelo a través de las aguas más turbulentas. Diseñado para llegar a las zonas de pesca y regresar al muelle de la manera más segura posible, con velocidad y agilidad, que se basa en gran medida por la sólida construcción, de alto rendimiento y tecnología innovadora.

Con un nuevo perfil elegante, exterior imponente y agresivo debido a la remodelación del famoso corte de línea Bertram, el B-64 sin duda llamará la atención en los muelles. Será un envidiable Bertram en apariencia y por introducir pequeñas mejoras añadiendo comodidades para ofrecerle la más perfecta experiencia de pesca deportiva en el agua. Grandes ventanales laterales en la cabina han sido incorporados en el diseño exterior y un buen parabrisas que distingue el frente exterior, se ofrecerá de serie para el pescador deportivo convencional. De cualquier manera, sus líneas curvas exteriores son progresivas, pero todavía se identifican como nada menos que un Bertram.

Los 194 pies cuadrados de espacio de trabajo en el cockpit del bote, incluyen un gran mezzanine, repletos de espacios para almacenar, con “fish boxes” extra grandes en el piso, un gran vivero, espacioso refrigerador / congelador y amplios espacios para guardar las cañas que seguramente van a satisfacer sus requisitos como pescador deportivo. También está disponible el vivero a presión con ventana transparente y luces.

The impact of the classic Bertram 54′ was distinctive in the marine industry became one of the most sought after Bertram models over the years. The new 540 is the quintessential sport-fishing machine, maintains the features of the classic 54′, and introduces new innovative elements to a sport fish craft. The result was a yacht that delivers ultimate steadfast performance and sea keeping ability of a fishing vessel combined with the ultra luxury and comfort of a cruising yacht.

Aside from its incredible seaworthiness, this new model offers new attributes to enhance the cruising experience. Undoubtedly, the most striking new feature is the forward wrap around window that provides breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and allows for an incredible amount of natural light to shine through the interior of the yacht. The ambiance created from these windows and the open salon layout provides a unique experience for entertaining on the open water. Port and starboard stateroom windows also lend to added natural light and exquisite views of the sea. These state of the art windows are made of multiple layers of glass and are both tested and designed exclusively by Ferretti group’s Advanced Yacht Technologies. They are engineered to hold up to the roughest sport-fishing conditions and are actually reinforced with directly into the fiberglass hull, contributing to the overall hull strength and design.

The open view layout of the new 540 is radiant with white oak, which provides an elegant richness and enhances the natural light that enters the salon. The galley area features a beautiful open bar area to facilitate movement between the salon and the cockpit entry way for a more open entertaining and dining experience. An innovative retractable aft cockpit window, which recedes down into the bulkhead for easy pass through of drinks and food was also added between the cockpit and the galley.

Many other elements were incorporated into the design of the new 540 to enhance the overall ease of use and to provide the ultimate entertainment experience for all of those aboard. Stereo sound systems were integrated into the bridge, salon and cockpit featuring iPOD connection for quality sound and easy control from any location on the boat. This versatile Bertram model comes in two model variations: the Open or the Enclosed fly-bridge. Both variations offer a choice of two salon arrangements and the options of 3 or 4 staterooms, galley layouts with upright or under-counter refrigerator-freezer, a bait prep station or mezzanine seating. The mezzanine area is a comfortable and safe place to sit while racing out on the open water and is the perfect vantage point to keep tabs on the bait spread. It allows for increased storage or an extra freezer and incorporates extra cup holders.

Bertram also designed a spiral staircase to the bridge for enhanced safety while navigating the rough waters and a cleaner cockpit to facilitate fishing or entertaining. Lockable rod storage in the cockpit and additional overhead rod storage in the galley and bridge holds a large quantity of rods. Desde hace aproximadamente 3 meses inició la Liga de Fútbol en la Marina de Isla de Flamenco, con la participación de 12 equipos que tenian la finalidad de hacer deporte, compartir entre compañeros y por supuesto ganar.

Todavía recordamos cuando los chicos de Evermarine llegaron con la idea de participar en la Liga, la verdad nos sorprendieron, y sorprendieron a todos al posicionarse como uno de los mejores equipos, dando lo mejor de cada uno en todos los juegos lograron llegar a la final para disputar el Primer Lugar.
