Ferretti Luxury Yachts
Ferretti Yachts began as two brothers working as brokers for other yacht
companies and later moving on to constructing their own brand of yachts.
Norberto and Alessandro Ferretti started the Italian company in 1968. Today,
Ferretti encompasses a number of companies with related yachting specialties
and brands. Ferretti constructs yachts at three distinct shipyards in Italy: the
original shipyard S. Giovanni in Marignano, the headquarters in Forli, and
Cattolica, the most state-of-the-art facility where 16 yachts can be constructed at
one time. Ferretti also has a research and design center in Forli, where ideas
are originated with the help of the latest computer technologies. Yachts developed
under the Ferretti name are from 43 feet to 88 feet in overall length.
Passion for the sea, innovative technology and sophisticated design comprise the Ferretti navigational style. The speed, performance and innovation of a Ferretti motor yacht are evidenced in its history-making flybridge, its razor-sharp lines which cut through the waves like a hot knife through butter, and their eliability and safety features which let you tackle the sea with confidence. At the same time, the living space of a Ferretti motor yacht showcases advanced technological solutions with a bright, elegant and luxurious interior atmosphere one would expect from the Italians. Ferretti yachts are rightly described as "floating villas", intended for those who enjoy experiencing the infinite fascination of the sea – while surrounded by exquisitely designed and intelligently planned living space.
All Ferretti yachts are RINA classified (Royal Registry of the Italian Navy) and they include a standard feature list of American design appointments. All appliances are made and serviceable in the US. All yachts have a standard electronics package including:
- GPS/Chart Plotter
- 48 mile radar
- VHF radios
- Depth and Speed indicators
- Autopilot.
72' and 80' yachts include a Novurania tender with 25hp outboard. Additionally, all yachts are equipped with full US Coast Guard safety kits (life jackets, flare kits, etc.), dishes and silverware.
