The graceful lines of the Bertram 800 draw envious eyes. Within, the elegant décor combines with advanced technology and practical amenities to make life aboard eminently pleasurable.

Anti-Rolling Gyro technology suppresses rolling motion and cuts the rolling angle by as much as fifty percent, in all weather and in port, for a comfortable ride. Also adding to riding comfort and performance are the Bertram hallmark deep-V hull and the modified hull strakes that reduce impact at the bow. With optional 2200-hp engines, the yacht cruises at 35 knots. Its high-density foam construction and fiberglass hull bottom take on the highest seas.

The broad beam of the 700 runs back to the stern to allow for an especially roomy salon and a 270-square-foot cockpit. This extra-large cockpit has mezzanine seating that conceals freezers and storage lockers. Non-stick Awlgrip® deck coating and molded transom steps add to safety, even when the weather is difficult.

The streamlined look of the Bertram 700 is enhanced by the frameless port, starboard, and aft windows, which also offer panoramic views from the salon. The salon exemplifies luxury cruising, with hand-selected African mahogany cabinets, granite countertops, and acoustic padding under the carpet. The 42-inch LCD HDTV is clearly visible from every seat; Bose® home theater surround-sound ensures listening pleasure. The sofa has an optional recliner and compartments for storage in its arms. A wet bar is optional.

The spacious galley includes a microwave/convection oven, a four-burner cook top with a full oven, a dishwasher, and a trash compactor. An upright refrigerator is standard; an under-counter refrigeration system is optional.

The master cabin is full-beam width. Oblong tempered-glass portholes on each side of the king berth give breathtaking views and flood the cabin with light. The cedar hanging locker and under-bed drawers provide ample storage; port and starboard dressers can be replaced by a single dresser and a desk/vanity. The teak-floored master head features a roomy shower stall and dual sinks.

The VIP forward stateroom has a queen berth; the starboard guestroom offers large twin side-by-side berths. Both rooms have a nightstand, a cedar hanging locker and upper storage compartments on the hull, as well as en suite heads. All staterooms have LCD HDTVs, wall-to-wall carpets, and digital alarm clocks.
